The Bhutan Food & Drug Authority, Ministry of Health, is pleased to announce the recruitment of seven Regulatory & Quarantine Inspectors (RQI) with a background in B.Sc. Animal Science and one RQI with a B.Sc. in Agriculture Science under the Plant & Animal Biosecurity Division, BFDA. The Hon’ble Dasho Secretary, MoH, and the Director, BFDA, graced the orientation program and shared words of wisdom on the core values of civil servants and the professional conduct expected of a regulatory agency. The program covered BFDA’s vision, mission, and mandates; the key functions of various divisions under BFDA; and an overview of the 13th Five-Year Plan, including strategic goals, while highlighting the critical roles of Regulatory & Quarantine Inspectors. All the newly recruited staff will be stationed at points of entry in southern Dzongkhags. The Ministry warmly welcomes all the new appointees to our team and looks forward to their valuable contributions.
